Sponsor A Thanksgiving Kit For A Food Insecure Family

Since the pandemic started in 2020, food insecurity have skyrocketed in Detroit. With food prices scaling higher and higher, more are expected to struggle. Because Neighborhood Grocery's mission starts with feeding people, we wanted to help our neighbors while our store was still in development. 

We are asking for those that are more fortunate right now to sponsor a Thanksgiving Meal Kit for a food insecure family in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood. Distribution of these kits will be 11-21-2023 starting at 9am. 

Kits includes::

- One Whole Halal + Organic Turkey (12-16lb - Enough to feed a family of 4-5)
- Two Bunches of Collard Greens
- Ingredients for Mac & Cheese
- Ingredients for Candied Yams
- Ingredients for Dressing
- Cranberry Sauce
- Beverages to serve 4-5 people
