* Sponsor A Grocery Bag For A Food Insecure Neighbor

Since the pandemic started in 2020, food insecurity have skyrocketed in Detroit. With food prices scaling higher and higher, more are expected to struggle. Because Neighborhood Grocery's mission starts with feeding people, we wanted to help our neighbors while our store was still in development. 

We are asking for those that are more fortunate right now to sponsor a bag of groceries for a food insecure resident in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood. Distribution will be daily through a network of non-profit partners in the area. 

Bags includes a mixture of::

Produce - Seasonal fruits and vegetables
* Bread
* Dairy Products - Eggs, Milk, Cheese
* Staple Goods - Sugar, Flour, Seasoning
* Meat - Party Wings (1 lb), Ground Beef (1 lb)
* Household Products - Bleach
